Murder in Mahim is a Hindi-language crime-thriller series. It was created by Tipping Point Production and directed by Raj Acharya. Mahim is a place in India where the people of the city witness a brutal crime. This web series is a hidden gem in Jeo Cinema and crime-thriller genre. 




A killer targets gay people in the city and brutally kills them. The killer also writes the names of next target in victim’s body. A well-known police officer and journalist investigate the case. In the time of investigation, they find different clues but they could not figure out the killer till the end. Is this crime just a crime of passion or a revenge story? That you have to find out by watching the series.


First thing first which is the killer’s targets are gay people that does not mean the series’ crew tries to hurt the LGBTQ community. The series is only for entertainment purposes and I assure you the entertainment is served excellently in the series. The whole team of the series tries to establish a point in the series which is the struggle of being a gay or lesbian in the society. It shows how society treats them. The series goes slower, so you must be patient until the end of apocalypse. Besides the thrill, you will also see a true friendship and how a father and son relationship progress happen in the series. It also shows a negative side of two policemen.

 

The videography is very good. Light, sounds are enough to give the vibe of a thrill. The series is in a regular form, it starts with an introduction to rising action to climax and the falling action to the end. The plot twist and the climax are top-notch. 


I highly recommend this series to watch. It is not a series to watch with family and also it is rated 18+. I must say that the series is a true thriller and it has the characteristics of the genre. I am giving 4 stars to the series out of 5.
